Thanks to just- a - cratch for enabling me to do weird things to the BMW!
I received a useful gift from my secret senna (that I asked for using that weird thing in the drawnames site because it was actually useful), a coding cable for the car. Now I can do responsible stuff like turn off the fake engine noises in the cabin...or irresponsible stuff like making those fake engine noises sound like I’m driving an m6.

image is a screen shot from 2015. I think it’s been updated so I can make the slight buzz of electricity come through the speakers when pressing the go go pedal.

I’m disappointed that there’s probably not a way to upload Daniel Malmedahl’s “two-stroke” engine mouth
noises that became “Crazy Frog”.

What setup are you using to code? I’m having a bear of a time trying to get INPA running on my Windows 10 Lenovo.

I’m going to attempt to use BimmerCode via the app. It seems to be well loved and provides access to the basics I want to play with. I’ve got a lot of the “secret” things already so there’s not a lot of big things to gain (sport+ and sport trans for example). So just the toys to play with.
I do want to swap the larger screen and go for a back up camera so someday it will be more useful.

I’m going to attempt BimmerCode. Reviews are good and the interface is so clean
